Why Our Goat Milk Soap?
At 77 Acres, our Goat Milk Soap is a reflection of slow, considered craftsmanship created for those who value quality, provenance and the quiet luxury of well-made essentials.
At the heart of every bar is fresh goat milk from our Nigerian Dwarf goats, hand milked on our farm. Known for its naturally high butterfat content, this milk creates a soap that is exceptionally creamy, gentle and deeply nourishing for the skin.
Unlike conventional soaps that can leave skin feeling tight or stripped particularly after exposure to some tap water goat milk soap works in harmony with your skin. Its natural fats help to replenish moisture, while its mild composition supports the skin barrier, leaving it feeling soft, balanced and comfortably hydrated after every use.
Each bar is also enriched with shea butter, a premium ingredient renowned for its luxurious texture and skin conditioning properties. Rich in essential fatty acids, shea butter helps to lock in moisture, smooth the skin and deliver that unmistakable, velvety finish that elevates a simple daily ritual into something more indulgent.
Our formulation is intentionally luxurious yet refined, allowing the quality of each ingredient to speak for itself. The result is a soap that feels indulgent, gentle and quietly restorative suited to those seeking a more natural, considered approach to skincare.
Handcrafted in small batches on our farm, 77 Acres Goat Milk Soap offers a cleansing experience that invites you to return to simplicity, done exceptionally well.
Not all Goat Milk Soap is Created Equal
Goat milk soap has become increasingly popular, but not every bar is made in the same way. Some products contain only small amounts of goat milk, while others use powdered or processed milk rather than fresh milk. The ingredient list can tell you a lot about what you’re buying, with ingredients listed in descending order by quantity.
Our soap is made using fresh goat milk produced here on our farm in Denmark, Western Australia, from our herd of Nigerian Dwarf dairy goats.
Nigerian Dwarf goats are naturally small, and consequently produce considerably less milk than larger dairy breeds. What makes their milk particularly special is its naturally high butterfat content, giving us a rich, creamy milk that is beautifully suited to soapmaking.
Every batch begins with milk from goats we know, care for and milk on our own farm. It gives us something that many commercially produced goat milk soaps simply can't offer: a genuine connection between the goat, the farm and the finished bar.
Our signature soap formulation contains 25% fresh goat milk and 25% premium shea butter, complimented by a considered blend of extra virgin olive oil and coconut oil. Together, these create a creamy, conditioning soap with a rich lather and a luxurious feel. We then carefully select natural clays, mineral pigments, fragrances and essential oils to give each bar its character.
Where we can, we bring even more of the farm into our products. Some of our botanical ingredients are grown here at 77 Acres, and we distil our own farm-grown Lemon Myrtle essential oil, allowing us to take the journey from plant to finished product right here on the property.
For us, quality begins long before the soap is made.
Our goats are part of our farm, not simply a source of milk. Their welfare is central to how we operate, with careful attention to their nutrition, health, housing, handling and day-to-day wellbeing.
That care flows through everything we make.
From the milk produced by our Nigerian Dwarf goats, to botanicals cultivated on the farm and ingredients carefully selected from trusted suppliers, we believe in knowing where our ingredients come from and being transparent about what goes into every bar.
