Frequently asked questions
What ingredients are in your goat milk soap?
Our goat milk soap is made using the most luxurious ingredients. Our base formulation comprises in order of volume - extra virgin olive oil, fresh goat milk, shea butter and coconut oil. Depending on the individual soap, we then add fragrances, essential oils and natural pigments, such as activated charcoal and French clay.
We never use cheap or inferior oils like Palm Oil or Sunflower Oil in our soaps.
Why are your soaps expensive compared to some other brands?
We use only the most premium ingredients to ensure your daily cleanse is moisturising, nourishing and gentle.
Compared to some other goat milk soaps available commercially, we only use fresh goat milk, we do not use powdered milk or "derived" from goat milk products.
Our bar soaps contain the milk, hand milked from our Nigerian Dwarf dairy goats, they produce the highest butterfat quality of milk compared to any other dairy breed. This ensures that the wonderful skin-loving nutrients and properties of fresh goat milk are captured within each lather.
All of our ingredients are listed in order of volume. We use 25% goat milk and 25% shea butter in our bar soaps - shea butter is another premium ingredient to hydrate and deeply moisturise the skin.
We don't use any preservatives, products to harden bars, or inferior oils like Palm or Sunflower Oils.
We use premium pure ingredients that make your skin feel good.
Do you use preservatives?
No - we don't use any preservatives in our bar soaps.
Where are your bar soaps made?
Our soaps are small batch handmade on our 77 Acres farm in Denmark, a small coastal town in the Great Southern region of Western Australia, about 5-hours' drive from the capital city of Perth.
How long do your bar soaps last?
As our soaps do not contain any preservatives, or inferior oils designed to harden bars with minimal skin-loving benefits, they usually last between 4-6 weeks depending on usage.
Our bars are designed to both moisturise and cleanse, they are slightly softer and gentler compared to some other soaps. For this reason, we recommend drying out your bar between uses on a soap drying rack that has good airflow to help extend its life.
